   So u got Fullshot…cool. that desktop is fine, but will b heavy on processer. r u using themeXp or is it a theme of Xspise??? howmuch time ur pc takes to boot?

   yep fullshot is good its no way heavy da
   thats a trans. pack just like xpize …its vista inspirat……just like longhorn transformation
   so it takes just normal time to boot

   yeah, i googled it and saw it. i asked the time not coz of the pack, but coz of big list of icons in ur quick launch and task bar. I dont like quick launch, so i disabled it. quicklaunch and taskbar items slows down the pc booting quite a bit.

   i understand what u say
   but once booted i dont swtich it off for couple of days…so i prefer it…if u r particular in booting time then u need to disable even the xpize n geat many other things(updates, monitors, startups….

   u dont switch it off…man, i reboot my pc once in two days ( onc ein 48 - 60 hrs).if I dont reboot, it will be very slow. rebooting considerebly fastens up the pc. I think u use hibernate than reboot, right.

   thats right…n slowin down is the only reason i swtich it off ur work pc? on for 48 hrs?

   yeah, my work pc…it is not switched off during week days. once i boot it on monday, i shut it down only on friday eve (but i reboot at times). It is really a hard working pc at times memory usgae crosses 1 gb, though the average is between 750 mb and 850 mb only

   a lot of programs, simulators and visual studio…My pc is always a bee hive of activity

    btw vs does take good amt of mem

    yeah.. i have some simulators specific for our application. thay are simulating some servers, which our client uses. Then i do run lot of batch programs, and some of them will take 10+hrs to compleete…thay are used to manipulate database…And i run a print server also in my pc, which helps clienst to generate word or pdf out put from our application.

    U guys keep ur PC on for days and days i never knew people kepping there PCs on for so long times. Wat does ur PC do at night doesnt it sleep or anyhting. I wonder…..

    Umm… Ahem…
    Good theme from CrystalXP.net but since u have a good config as I presume, it wud be better if u ran WB5 with KOL’s Glass Style VistaXP for that realistic Vista look

    I dunt have it, ps - M$ has sued KOL for using Vista stuff and makin it public, so if u manage to get hold of a pack sumwhere over p2p or w3rz consider yourself very lucky

    I dont use any windows blinds, or crystal XP or any other frog shit stuufs. I use UXtheme.dll (patched) it’s the best way to apply visual styles to your desktop.
